The varsity jacket is as much an iconic image of the American college life as the prom and the cheerleaders .
Although they are a men's item , the varsity jackets have been recently adopted by fashionistas , with an interesting twist , often replacing a denim or leather jacket .
You will definitely find the perfect one for you in shops like Forever 21 , Topshop or Urban Outfiters - i found mine in Zara Kids , and i am totally smitten with the colour , the cut and the leather sleeves . Don't ignore the men section , too - there might be more styles to choose from !
